President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye departed Dakar this morning for Luanda, Angola, where he will take part in the 7th European Union – African Union Summit, scheduled for 24–25 November 2025.
This high-level gathering will bring together Heads of State and Government from both continents to discuss strategic partnerships, political and economic cooperation, security challenges, and shared priorities related to development, peace, and global governance.
Senegal’s participation in the summit reflects its commitment to strengthening the EU–AU dialogue, defending Africa’s interests, and promoting a balanced cooperation framework based on solidarity, mutual respect, and support for structural transformation across the continent.
